Excellent Female Students Award Ceremony

Excellent Female Students Award CeremonyThe scholarship award ceremony for CS and EE excellent female students by Intel and DELL-EMC.was held on hursday, January 11, 2018.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dan Geiger, Dean of the Electrical Engineering Department, Prof. Nahum Simkin, Vice President of DELL EMC and Director of the Center for Excellence in Israel, Dr. Orna Berry and CEO of Intel Development Centers in Israel Karin Ivshitz Segal.

The event was moderated by Prof.-Deputy Keren Censor Hillel, Who is responsible for encouraging women to excel in CS, who said: "It is important for us to mention your excellence in order to increase the number of women in both faculties."

The winning students:
The DELL-EMC scholarships were awarded to:
- Aluma Barzali, Lino Pnias, Naomi Rabkin and Shoval Mishal of the Electrical Engineering Department.
- Noga Bar, Noa Bartman and Ofri Rips of the Computer Science Department.

The Intel Scholarship scholarships were awarded to:
- Sharon Rechnitz (MS.c. under the supervision of Prof. Yuval Yaish) and Rotem Cohen Tzedek of the Electrical Engineering Department.
- Rana Shachot (MS.c. under the supervision of Prof. Roy Friedman) and Kassem Qassem of the Computer Science Department.
